# Transition Strategy and Strategic Deployment

<mark style="background-color:green;">**Transition Strategy: From Web2 to Web3**</mark>

To meet the growing demand for asset liquidity and convenient on-chain consumption, AP initiated a strategic transformation in 2025 and officially upgraded its infrastructure to a Web3 financial architecture. Key steps included:

* Strategic equity acquisition in the **U3 Foundation (UK)** to strengthen regulated digital financial capabilities.
* Partnership with **VISA and MasterCard** to co-issue the **AP U-Card**.
* Obtaining an **API Payment License from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)** to operate legally in the UK, EU, and Hong Kong.
* Establishing seamless exchange channels between on-chain assets (e.g., USDT) and real-world currencies (USD, EUR, CNY, etc.).

These efforts have positioned AP as an active builder in the global Web3 payment infrastructure and a key bridge between crypto assets and real-world commerce.

#### <mark style="background-color:green;">Global Strategic Deployment</mark>

AP follows a “compliance-first, tech-neutral, ecosystem-synergized” globalization strategy, including:

* **Technology Centers** in Singapore and the UK, focusing on stablecoin clearing, settlement, and payment system APIs.
* **Compliance Zones** with FCA approval in the UK to ensure regulatory legitimacy.
* **Card issuance and logistics network** leveraging international schemes to support U-Card delivery and usage in over 200 countries and regions.
* **Localized business development teams** in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America to expand community partnerships and the affiliate network.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ap-organization-1.gitbook.io/alpha-partners/background/transition-strategy-and-strategic-deployment.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
